Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pre-engineered self-storage building for a customer in Elwood, Nebraska, in May, 2016.
Desert tan in color and 30’x150’x12’ in size, the building is crafted from premium-grade steel materials and now serves as a mini storage complex. Covering and protecting the complex is a rugged and corrosion-resistant Galvalume metal roof with a 0.5:12 roof pitch, and inside it are (15) framed openings varying in size and function. Included are (3) 3’x7’ openings equipped with (3) 4’x7’ Janus Model 650 roll-up doors and (12) 10’x10’ openings enclosing (12) 10’x10’ Janus Model 650 roll-up doors.
Additional project features include a wind speed rating of 90 mph and a snow load of 30 lbs., inclusions that were made in consideration of the typical climate patterns of Elwood and the surrounding area.
A village located within south-central Nebraska’s Gosper County, Elwood lies about 52 miles outside Kearney and 17 miles from Lexington.
