Regency Steel Buildings supplied these (2) matching metal mini storage buildings in Belle Plaine, Minnesota in March of 2021. The buildings were designed to match other buildings at the Self-Storage facility for a repeat customer.

Engineered by Regency Steel Buildings, the (2) metal mini storage buildings are identical and together function as a self-storage facility. Comprised of heavy-duty steel components, the buildings boast (48) storage units for rent between them. When erect, both metal mini storage buildings are 40’x110’x9.5’, and overhead, each features a durable, damage- and corrosion-resistant Galvalume gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch.

Distributed between the (2) steel self-storage buildings are (4) 10’x10’ units with (4) 8’6”x8’ framed openings, (4) 10’x10 storage units with (4) 9’x8’ framed openings and (40) 10’x20’ storage units, each of which has one of (40) 9’x8’ framed openings.

There are also (52) doors located throughout the self-storage facility. There are (4) 8’6”x8’ Model 650 doors and (44) 9’x8’ Model 650 mini storage doors that offer individualized access into each storage unit. Each mini storage door has its own stainless-steel chateau bezel latch. There are also (4) 8’6”x8’ dummy doors on the property.

Other building customizations include DripX condensation control pre-applied to both roofs and 29-gauge partition panels functioning as dividers between storage units. One wall along each building also features wainscoting, enhancing aesthetic appeal.

In compliance with the building and engineering codes currently in place in Belle Plain, both self-storage buildings also have 115-mph wind loads and 115-mph wind speed ratings. Located in southern Minnesota’s Scott County, the city of Belle Plain sits about 40 minutes southwest of Minneapolis and about 52 minutes from St. Paul.
