Mini Storage Outlet supplied this striking steel mini storage building for a customer in Bloomington, New York, in late August of 2014.
Now used as a mini storage complex, the prefabricated metal building boasts a finished size of 30’x120’x9.5’, and is topped with a Galvalume roof with a 0.5:12 roof pitch. It houses total of (31) rentable mini storage units. There are (6) 5×10 units with 4×7 rollup doors and (5) 6x10units with 5×7 rollup doors. On one sidewall there are (8) 10×20 and (2) 10×15 units both unit sizes have 9×8 rollup doors. The other sidewall has (8) 10×10 and (2) 10×15 units all with 9×7 rollup doors. All of the rollup doors are Janus Model 650. The steel building also boasts gutters and downspouts to keep rainwater from overflowing.
In consideration of the typical weather patterns and considerable precipitation Bloomington experiences throughout the year, the steel mini storage building was designed with a wind speed of 90 mph and a roof snow load of 85 lbs.
