The owner of a successful Ripley, West Virginia self-storage facility and an existing Regency Steel mini storage building saw a need for more storage space in Jackson County and purchased this new, (24)-unit metal mini storage building in May of 2023.
The Hawaiian Blue metal building with Brilliant White trim has a 3” WMP-VRR-faced vapor barrier in its roof that keeps moisture from getting inside, delivering reliable protection for stored goods. Gutters and downspouts along the 1:12, single-slope roof also help water drain off easily.
Inside, the mini storage building has 29-gauge steel partitions set up to create:
- (6) 10’x10’ storage units
- (4) 10’x15’ storage units
- (8) 10’x20’ storage units
- (6) 10’x30’ storage units
Each storage unit has a High-Gloss White Model 650 mini storage door that matches the trim of the rest of the building. Other customizations include a 115-mph wind rating and a 21-psf roof snow load, which meet the local building code requirements the owner verified before construction began.
The county seat of West Virginia’s Jackson County, the small community of Ripley sits about 37 miles north of Charleston.
