When a client in Wilton, Minnesota, wanted to enter the self-storage industry, he ordered this pre-engineered metal mini storage building to serve as his business’s headquarters.

Manufactured by Regency Steel Buildings and sent to the business site in January of 2023, the building makes another (80) storage units available to residents of north-central Minnesota. Durable and built to last, it gives renters a safe, secure place to house home goods, business assets or anything else they lack room for at home or at work.

The mini storage building has customizations throughout that make it attractive to renters, including 24” roof overhangs and a high R-value insulation package that keeps stored goods at ideal temperatures. In the roof is an R-49 insulation system, while the walls hold R-25 fiberglass insulation blankets.

The self-storage facility has 29-gauge dividers with Galvalume finishes that separate its interior into individual storage units. It also has gutters and downspouts along the roof to help rain and snow drain off easily, helping everything stored inside stay safe and dry.

Inside, the mini storage building has the following storage units available for rent.

• (12) 10’x10’ units
• (12) 10’x15’ units
• (40) 10’x20’ units

Each unit has a painted Model 650 mini storage door that gives its renter private access. There are also (3) 4’x7’ walk doors with panic hardware and (2) vestibules that serve as general entry points for the self-storage business.

Part of northern Minnesota’s Beltrami County, Wilton sits about 8 miles from Bemidji and about 156 miles northwest of Duluth.
