Regency Steel Buildings fabricated and provided these (7) steel mini-storage buildings in Beaumont, Texas, in May 2022.
Engineered with the strong winds and other climate characteristics of the area in mind, the (7) insulated steel self-storage buildings together function as a large, (178-unit) self-storage business, bringing in a regular stream of revenue for the business owner. All (7) structures are comprised of sustainable, quality steel parts, and all have corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with gutters, downspouts, and 0.5:12 pitches overhead. Building A
Standing 25’x305’x9.5’, Building A contains (60) 10’x10’ storage units.
Buildings B & C
Standing 48’x120’x9.5’ Buildings B and C each contain (20) 12’x20’ storage units.
Building D
Standing 35’x240’x9.5’ Building D contains (20) 12’x30’ storage units.
Building E
Standing 25’x250’x9.5’, Building E contains (25) 10’x20’ storage units.
Building F
Standing 20’x150’x9.5’, Building F contains (15) 10’x15’ storage units.
Building G
Standing 25’x190’x9.5’, Building G contains (19) 10’x20’ storage units.
Each storage unit has its own door. The self-storage facility has (178) 9’x7’ Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latches. There are also (18) 4070 steel entry doors and (1) 3070 entry door distributed among the self-storage buildings.
Inside, the buildings have Polar White hallway panels and heavy-duty 29-gauge partitions separating the interior into separate storage units. All buildings in the storage complex also have 6” of roof and 4” of wall insulation, keeping renter goods at ideal temperatures for storage.
In compliance with local building codes in consideration of the strong winds that come through the area, all (7) mini storage buildings have high, 136-mph wind ratings.
