Pair of Self-Storage Building Kits in Crossville, Tennessee

Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pair of pre-engineered metal self-storage buildings for a client in Crossville, Tennessee, in August 2022.

Designed for traditional as well as boat and RV storage needs, the buildings have high ceilings that maximize storage space and rugged, reliable construction that keeps items stored inside safe and protected. The first mini storage building, Building A, is 60’x115’x9’/14’ and has a single-slope Galvalume roof with a 1:12 pitch, while the second structure in the complex, Building B, is 70’x84’x16’ and has a gable roof with a 0.5:12 pitch.

The buildings contain the following storage units inside.

Building A
• (2) 15’x10’ units with 8’x7’ door openings
• (22) 10’x10’ units with 8’x7’ door openings
• (20) 10’x15’ units with 8’x7’ door openings

Building B
• (6) 14’x45’ units with 12’x14’ door openings
• (6) 14’x25’ units with 12’x14’ door openings

Dividing the interiors of the buildings into separate storage units are heavy-duty steel partitions with Galvalume finishes, and 26-gauge painted hallway panels provide access to each storage unit. There are also (2) 4070 half-glass walk doors providing general access into the self-storage facility.

Both buildings’ roofs feature painted panels, gutters and downspouts and DripX condensation control, which helps keep items stored inside safe and dry. A 7-psf roof snow load and a 115-mpoh wind speed rating are additional customizations made in adherence to local building codes.

Part of Cumberland County in east-central Tennessee, the city of Crossville sits about 70 miles west of Knoxville and about 80 miles north of Chattanooga.
