Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pair of prefabricated steel self-storage buildings for a customer in Westby, Wisconsin, in January of 2022.
Now serving as a self-storage facility, the (2) Regency Storage Systems mini storage buildings offer unmatched structural integrity with the first, Building A, standing 30’x170’x8.25/9.5’ and the second building, Building B, standing 30’x150’x8.25/9.5’. Both mini storage buildings also have heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant Galvalume roofs with 0.5:12 pitches providing reliable protection from above.
Inside Building A are (17) 10’x30’ storage units, and each has a 9’x8’ framed door opening. Building B houses (15) 10’x30’ storage units with 9’x8’ framed openings, and there are rugged, 29-gauge partitions with Galvalume finishes separating one storage unit from the next. Filling the framed door openings inside Building A are (17) 9’x8’ painted Janus Model 650 mini storage doors with stainless-steel latch hardware.
Additional customizations include gutters and downspouts along the roof and a 2.5” WMP-VRR-faced roof vapor barrier, all of which help prevent the formation of condensation. A 30.8-psf roof snow load and a 115-mph wind speed rating are additional enhancements made in line with local building codes.
Located in southwestern Wisconsin, the city of Westby is part of Vernon County. It sits about 101 miles outside Madison, Wisconsin, and about 27 miles southeast of La Crosse.
