Regency Steel Buildings supplied this pair of pre-engineered metal mini storage buildings in Windsor, Colorado, in December of 2021.
Now serving as a self-storage business, the (2) insulated, energy-efficient Regency Storage Systems mini storage buildings are comprised of ultra-durable steel parts and offer reliable protection for goods and assets stored inside. The first building, Building A, is 45’x199’x15.125’17’, while the second self-storage building, Building B, is 40’x176’x15.125’/17’.
Both buildings have hardwearing, corrosion-resistant Galvalume single-slope roofs with 0.5:12 pitches providing overhead protection, and between them, they contain (26) storage units available for rent. Inside Building A are (14) 14’x45’ storage units with 12’x14’ framed door openings, while Building B contains (12) 14’x40’ storage units with 12’x14’ framed door openings.
An insulation package keeps the temperatures inside of the units comfortable and consistent and heating and cooling bills low for the business owner. The buildings each have 6” of WMP-VRR-faced insulation in the roof and another 4” of WMP-VRR-faced insulation in the walls.
Additional customizations include firewall materials, 29-gauge partitions that serve as dividers between storage units, and gutters and downspouts, which help guard against condensation. A 36.12-psf snow load and a 108-mph wind speed rating are additional enhancements made in line with local building codes.
Located in north-central Colorado, Windsor has land in both Larimer and Weld counties. It sits just west of Greeley and about 60 miles north of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver.
